Editor — The Arthur F. Burns Fellowship 

The consultant will engage with ICFJ HQ program staff, project partners, and participating journalists to undertake the following editorial tasks:
  • Compile stories, photos, and other materials to be included in the quarterly newsletter (3 to 4 times per year) and annual report (every 2 years);
  • Design and edit the layout of the newsletter and annual report;
  • Edit the content of the newsletter and annual report.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or the equivalent of 1–3 years of work experience as a journalist or editor;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Word and MS Excel);
  • Experience using Mailchimp and Salesforce;
  • Experience working with a diverse, multicultural staff;
  • Willingness to travel within the United States for fundraising events and programmatic events, as determined by the project requirements;
  • Ability to work independently.
